Randy started the comments and said there’s a reason he’s here because he has one of the best voices in the competition. He loved the end of the song but felt the many changes that were made to the song were just to many. He wasn’t totally loving the song, he wants to see Todrick just sing a great song without all the changes.
Ellen said she would never say-just sing- she wants him to sing and dance. Dancing is part of him and he should use that in his performance. She felt overall it wasn’t the right song chioce.
Kara agreed with Ellen and told him to enjoy the song and move because that shows his personality. She misses the Todrick they saw at the first audtion.
Simon was even harsher and told him to dance and not sing because it was awful. The other judges all jumped in to his defense and told Todrick it wasn’t “that” bad.
